Aneesh Tolat, M.D.
Aneesh Tolat, MD, FACC graduated from Haverford College and earned his M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine in 1997. After completing his Internal Medicine training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, he trained in Cardiology and Electrophysiology with Dr. Mark Josephson at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School in Boston. He has been in practice as an attending Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia. Dr. Tolat is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is experienced in radiofrequency ablation, including AFIB ablations, implantation and management of ICDs and BIV devices, and arrhythmia management. Dr. Tolat has written on pacemaker and defibrillator implantation techniques and has conducted research on risk assessment for prevention of sudden cardiac death.
